Overview

  • About The Academy - San Francisco @ McAteer

    The Academy offers a rigorous and relevant curriculum to see the needs of our various student body. All students consummate their a-yard requirements during their iv years and graduate college-eligible. Thanks to a partnership with CCSF, many of our graduates also graduate already having earned transferable college credits.

    Every University student receives higher counseling all four years supported through our two total-time academic counselor and full-time college counselors.

    The Academy's small school setting allows our teachers to create an effective learning environs by working closely with students and their families in building a potent community. Within this community, teachers are able to give more individual attention to students and communicate regularly with parents. Our administrators, similar our teachers, work to individualize experiences for stakeholders past welcoming parents to driblet in to school whenever they like discuss the best mode to serve families. As a small-scale school, between our two administrators we know every student on campus and are very hands on with all student support issues that arise.

    The University-SF is co-located with Ruth Asawa School of the Arts at the quondam McAteer campus, however, the Academy is a split school located on the first floor of the Main Building.

    The Academy - San Francisco @ McAteer runs an ExCEL afterschool programme from iii:30 to 6:thirty PM, which includes bookish tutoring, enrichment activities, CAHSEE prep and credit recovery. All Academy student-athletes attend mandatory study hall through the afterschool program. Activities include Graffiti Arts, Cooking Club, and a Hip Hop Recording Studio. Students receive academic support every bit well equally breezy mentoring, through the relationships they build with our dynamic staff.

  • School Accountability Written report Menu (SARC)

    School Accountability Report Cards (SARCs) are required by country law and are intended to provide families with important data.

  • Schoolhouse Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA)

    School communities assemble twice a year to review data and previous deportment in order to intentionally program for the coming months. The School Plan for Student Achievement is the template on which this review and stakeholder engagement process is codified.

  • Social-Emotional and Culture Climate Report

    SFUSD annually surveys families and schoolhouse staff on a range of school climate indicators that have been found to predict positive pupil academic accomplishment. The social-emotional learning of students in grades 4-12 is likewise assessed.

  • 2018-2019 Schoolhouse Accountability Highlights

    Published annually by SFUSD to provide access to key data points and three-year trends related to student achievement and school culture-climate. The highlights are available in English, Castilian, Chinese, Arabic, Filipino, and Vietnamese.

  • 2018-2020 Balanced Scorecard (BSC)

    A two-year programme each school creates with families, students and community members that details the school's goals and priorities.
